That's very likely. It's one of the two songs I really missed in the game. The other being Grand Funk's "I'm Your Captain / Closer To Home", which was just a few spots below "Aqualung".

Edit: both those songs would have made it into the game if I had excluded the "alternative" sources. But in that case, so would even more Petty, Van Halen, Aerosmith etc.

One way to look at it: "Aqualung" isn't in the game because "Seven Nation Army" is. "Aqualung" and some other great songs were an unfortunate victim of my choice to have a more diverse list. While that made for a better game, I'd vote for "Aqualung" over, say, any of the Radiohead songs we saw in the game.

For what it's worth, I liked the more diverse approach. It was fun to see how a band like Talking Heads fared on this board.

It depends on how we define diverse approach. I see what you mean SMX when you talk about your choice for more diverse (American) sources.

Of course, if there would be one more Tull song and one less Petty song; it would have made the game (not the sources) more diverse and balanced, without having to initially sacrifice other bands. But when looking at the methods that were used, and choices for the sources, that would have been an exception. And where to end this? That isn't easy indeed, so I can understand you prefer to be more consequent. The game is huge ! :)

I should keep in mind what this game is exactly about. Perhaps I am too focused on expecting to do a game leading to the most popular classic rock songs out here and tend to forget how all these songs were gathered.

Anyway, thanks for the insight and keep going! :ok:
