Currently watching the Top Gear episode where they race a Ferrari and a Bentley on a frozen lake in Northern Sweden. Clarkson and Hammond look really out of their element on snow :D
 
I know this band doesn't have a lot of fans who also like Maiden, but my dad and I are huge fans and sadly they lost their guitar, Casey Calvert player 7 years ago today and wrote this VERY powerful song for him on their next album. I can't listen to it without crying.

 
No snow here, but for the first time this November, temperatures below 0 °C. And a bright blue morning sky. Also for the first time this November.

No Billy, it's not. Your strategy - "be truer than false, realer than fake" etc - worked in the 90s because my generation was ready to eat up that earnest, angsty stuff after the costume ball that was the 80s. It worked because before the internet, despite all your rage, you were still just a rat in a MTV-approved cage. (Didja notice how your career took a nosedive as soon as Napster showed up?)
 
I work from home. It's 1.13pm and I'm just about to have a Douglas Adams. I.e., a daytime bath, named after the great man's preferred procrastination technique.
 
Working from home as well today ... calling it a day at noon and taking the rest of the week off for Thanksgiving. Going to the traditional Thanksgiving Eve Hockey game tonight (minor league tonight, (Lone Star Brahmas v Amarillo Bulls), mass consumption of turkey and football tomorrow!
 
I took the day off. Hafta work Thanksgiving day, but thats ok, because I have mobil NFL app :)

And, I'll have the rest of the weekend off to hang out with my kids, so awesome there.
