Few weeks ago I had a one of the worst starts to the day I've had in years, didn't think it was possible but today has managed to start worse, and it's really shaken me up.

What happened?

I visit meme sites quite often, trying to pass the time and keep myself occupied, usually check them in a morning (most posts coming from US timezone etc). Checked this morning, and in a large compilation of funny pics there is someone who looks very much like my ex (Moving on is not a strong point of mine), that itself has happened time to time and it does often shake me up, but I manage to convince myself that it isn't her because the picture has no tattoo's. The picture in question today does have the appropriate ones... it's not 100% clear, but it's making it very hard to convince myself it's not her.

It shouldn't really matter even if it is, but it... just... does.

Is it possible that you saw her in that picture because you somehow already expected to see her there?

There's no reason I *should* see a picture of her on a random website, especially in the context that the picture was taken, so I don't think it was expectation - I'd say perhaps subconscious desire but given how it affects me I don't think I really want to see a picture... in person sure, picture no. I've shown the picture to my brother in law and his response was that had I not explained where it came from, he would have assumed it was her. The only ways I can really convince myself its not right now is that, as said, there's no reason it *should* be there.

Still not the thing I really want to see when I'm half asleep in a morning though :(
