That's the thing though, it's not enormous. It's incredibly simple. Anyone who is capable enough to sign up for any website can pull it off. And Steve Lazarus was just an example, if such a campaign were real, it could be spearheaded by a completely different person.
Let's not forget that this...
That's actually something I'd like metal bands to embrace in general. For whatever reason most bands are super rigid. If you look at other artists they are much more likely to shake up their songs and arrangements, sometimes even changing genres. Rick Astley for example has performed a brilliant...
I think you are massively misunderstanding what was written. They didn't claim that there's some massive conspiracy and certainly nothing about a "force to contend with". If you've spent any time on social media the last few years, especially during and after covid, you'd know that similar...
Again, I don't think that snarc meant every single negative comment about Simon was part of some conspiracy. It's about a number of specific accounts on the subreddit, here and probably YouTube and/or Facebook with suspiciously similar writing and posting styles. Pettiness can be found in...
I don't think it's aimed at you or some of the other regulars here on the forum. I don't know if I believe there's some kind of conspiracy, but I can say at the very least, that I've seen posts very similar to Kurt Barlow's typing style on the maiden subreddit, from different user accounts...
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. I've heard people calling it meandering, aimless and in need of editing, but 4/10 seems quite harsh without context. No worries, this isn't about to turn into a debate or anything :D I just like hearing opinions about art, especially when they are wildly...
That one would've been an instant 10/10 if they cut out the verses and simply kept the instrumental sections. Those are legendary, but Steve just had to put some of the most awkward vocal lines in the first half of the song.
Yeah, I'm pretty weird as far as Maiden goes :D
Generally I prefer what Maiden did in the 90s and the reunion compared to their output in the 80s. As far as the golden era goes, I feel they generally got better with each album.
Basically: Killers < IM < TNOTB < POM < PS < SIT < SSOASS

That's not quite right. On one of the recent tour video where the other band members spoke to the camera, Simon had a short segment in that as well.
I guess they simply wanted someone who doesn't rock the boat, just does what he's told and that's it.
Yeah, 2 in America was 4 in Japan and 3 in America was 6 in Japan.
The original 2 (NES), 3 (NES) and 5 (SNES) were originally only released in Japan and only came over to the West later with the PS1 ports and afterwards the GBA remakes.
SSOASS is the only one in my top 5. The first four are among my least favourite albums (still great, but I prefer the later material). SIT has great highs but abysmal lows (imo) and Powerslave has quite a few issues as well.
As I clarified in the edit, that was simply my opinion. People are free to discuss whatever they want.
That's not what I said either :)
The whole point of the discussion wasn't that Nicko fluctuates. He always did that, live AND in the studio. The point was that in 2023/2024 he fluctuated far...
