Over one and a half hours is fine. Remember, the die hard fans are not the target audience. You don't wanna bore new potential fans with the Lord of the Rings extended cut extravaganza. Pacing is important and I'd rather they cut out all the unnecessary fluff.

That's definitely not a normal fan. Those are the super fans and are a tiny part of the overall fanbase. Doing something like that goes well beyond the scope of a "normal" fan, since it takes a lot of time and money.

For me TFF has much weaker songwriting on average than the other reunion albums. Never liked Isle of Avalon (except the "fertility mother goddess" riff I guess), and songs like Coming Home or Mother of Mercy have a few cool sections, but quite a bit of stuff that doesn't resonate with me.
