The funny part of this observation is that the "characters" are actually real people. Nothing random about it.
Very old school Maiden track. It's been my grower. Love the storytelling aspect of these lyrics.
Re: 'Blood On The World's Hands'
I'm not at ALL a fan of the BB era (or the singer either), but this is probably my favorite Bayley-sung song. Fine song in general and great performance. It's one of about 3 BB songs I can actually listen to without being-filtered through the Dickinson reunion...
Ghost Of The Navigator
The Wicker Man
Blood Brothers
Rainmaker
Paschendale
Face In The Sand
For The Greater Good Of God
The Legacy
Brighter Than 1000 Suns
The Longest Day
The Talisman
Starblind
Isle Of Avalon
The Man Who Would Be King
...to be on a "best of 21st century Maiden" hits album.
Only rule is you must select at least TWO from each album...and no more than 14 tracks.
Pick...! (doesn't have to be a particular order, just the 14 best from the past four albums)
Yes, it has. It's the only moment where he's harmonizing his lead vocal track. I suppose if I have any nitpick about this era it's that a few more harmonies wouldn't hurt. It's minor, but it's a bit of a flourish I miss. I'd also throw a bit more echo on Dickinson's vocals. I understand...
It's up there for me as well. I'm not getting the "I'm not getting that one yet" comments. (I mean, I get it...but it doesn't make complete sense to me as I think it's pretty awesome). ;)
