I think there is one - see the browser detected RSS feed for the main page (which is also linked in the very bottom right of the page)

Ah, I see the edit polls question is being addressed here. I will keep watching for updates.

It's called Reply now. Just click it and it will quote the post for you. It's right next to the Like button.

Jon, large images no longer automatically resize to something smaller. On my screen, this is huge: http://forum.maidenfans.com/threads...eplies-to-this-post.193/page-1753#post-347982

I think this BB only resizes images to fit the width (although it does it dynamically, so if you resize the window, the image will come with it) - there's no way at the moment to specify a large image should come out smaller than the page width.

Again, there's a bunch of stuff with this BB that I think will come in over time - it's written by the guys who did vBulletin originally, and it's only been out about a year.

Sorry about that, and merry christmas to all! :)

Could you add the single most useful and expressive smiley ever created:

The current
Code:
;)
is really ugly.

Apart from that, I like the new board.

Where can I set the max amount of posts per page? The default seems to be 20 and I don't think it can be increased/decreased. Not a big problem though, it's only ten posts less than the usual amount I have in forums. I also agree with Shadow,
wink.gif
is better than the current wink, ;). Again, not a very serious problem.

Unfortunately this setting can only be set at a board-wide, all user level.

For now, I'll make sure to resize pics so they're not so huge. Also, some boards have a rule where a pic can only be up to a certain size and that members must resize it before posting if it's too large. That might be a good idea if Jon can't get an auto-resizer to work.

I've put in a filter now that restricts inline images to a maximum of either 350 pixels wide or high. It does mean you don't get the click to full size any more, but it seems to work - see the sample link from earlier:

From within the Madness forum where we see all the spam threads, we have the page links to the 100k thread, but the links to the specific pages do not seem to be correct and clicking them goes straight to page 1. However, when you in the thread, the page number links are correct. i.e. an example of a link that is incorrect is pointing to:

http://forum.maidenfans.com/threads/lets-try-and-get-100-000-replies-to-this-post.22650/page-1751 (despite the fact it has progressed passed page 1751 - it could be that the page links are not updating correctly?)

But the link that works points to:

http://forum.maidenfans.com/threads/lets-try-and-get-100-000-replies-to-this-post.193/page-1753

In the community part is points to the last page correctly.

Note: I've not noticed it any other thread.

You're correct - it appears to be a bug in the forum software. The 100k thread is the only one I've moved and then left a redirecting placeholder in its old location for - so I'm inclined to think I'll remove the redirect thread in a few weeks once most people have settled back in and got used to the new layout. (The forum software guys might also fix the bug)
